Marlin SBL and GGun stocks

You mean an SBL and a GS? The SBL is a pistol grip and the "Guide" GS is a straight, so no you'd have to change the lower tang as well.

If you're talking SBL to GBL (brown lam/blued) or even the standard 1895 walnut, then yes they are interchangeable but may require some minor fitting.
 
Doh! Thank you. Forgot about the power tang. Thinking GGun stocks with straight lever. Also messed up in that mines a GBL.
