It's hard to tell from what I can see. The barrel on the .45-70 is indeed threaded or no? Looks like a line in one picture but not the other.

It says Thread cap match polished in the description for the 45-70. Should be threaded.

It's a very nice fit according to the photos then. I can barely see it and wasn't sure it was even there.
