looking at rifle basix

anyone tried them

i dont care for the original trigger

where to buy them?

tks

You mean the 917 ?
Email them. They used to sell direct.
If they don't now, they can refer you to a distributer.
I like their product.

i will try the email
i dont think a trigger for a rifle can be shipped from the USA
sorry i guest i hadded the 3 in 917 cause i kick myself for not buying the 9317 savage with accutrigger at the time

i tryed to save a few $ cause marlin was cheaper but in the end i will spend more $ getting a trigger upgrade :(

I was on the exact same page as you when i first shot my 917. The trigger felt like it was grinding metal on metal, and it must have been around 9 lbs. (Still look back and wished I got a Savage instead) If you are somewhat mechanically inclined, check out the trigger mods over at Rimfire Central.

The pen spring trick actually cleaned up my trigger very well and lowered it to about 3 or 4 lbs. The rifle is now enjoyable to shoot. If you don't like it, at least it didn't cost you anything more than a pen (Even then the spring would be recoverable :)), and you can always get the rifle basix trigger later.

Rifle basix will get you the trigger you just have to make sure you buy the right one...

tks rimfire central is pretty good site was not aware of it
i will try the pen spring trick it seems that most people who did it like the new trigger pull

if i still dont like it i will get the rifle basic
