Marlin X7VH .308 appraisal plz

Great gun, hard to find. How much more is he asking?

Epps doesnt have them in stock, but they are orderable.

h ttp://thegundealer.net/marlin.htm

is another source for them to try.

I have the .270 win in stainless and I love it.

I believe the XS7 rifles are regular short action with contour barrels. I have the XS7VH in 22-250 and its a monster. 26" heavy target barrel. no good for toting around but accurate as hell. I think folks are confusing the two different models. It sounds like the OP has the extra long extra heavy barrel. I don't know how much they go for now (if you can find one) but I wouldn't sell mine for less than $450 if that helps.

I believe around $475....

stef

Thats a bit excessive lol. Despite how difficult it can be to track down some of the XL7 series guns (especially the stainless), it can be done with some patience and calling around. I can pass along some more names of suppliers that might have some in stock as well if you want too. For $500 I was able find some of the stainless models when I was looking (shipped and taxes included in that price).

$450-$475 is not bad for the X7VH. The other prices mentioned I believe are referring to the standard Marlin X7 rifle ($300-375) not the Varmint

X2!!!!

Mine has shipped from them already, I didn't ask how many others they had left, for $369 +taxes and shipping, Im more than happy, and they have confirmed that the pricing WILL be increasing with the 2014 batch/shipment as the dollar isn't favorable for us...

Any others interested in pickin one up give them a shout!

It's NOT a good price.

The varmint version is supposed priced only $20 more than the normal version; that's why it's a good deal and sought after.

$349 for regular version and $369 for varmint is the non-ripoff price.

Yes, they are harder to find, but $450 - $475 is major price gauging, period.
