Marlin XLR question?

Does the new XLR have the "cross bolt safety" as some of the older 1895's and if so is there the kit available to retrofit it?

According to the manual, the crossbolt safety is still included;

Can't remember the name of the company that makes a "dummy" safety. A search for "Marlin safety" on CGN will probably find it as the question has been asked before.

You can also O ring it which has the advantage of not nailing the warrantee. I would install the fake screw, but if a person doesn't have a really strong reason for playing with it, it might be worth leaving it as it is. It does deal with some safety issues in the gun.
