Greetings fellow gun nutz,
A few months ago I purchased a Marlin XS7 in .243 with the intentions of making a new wooden stock, after about a month of work it’s finally finished. I made it out of a solid piece of walnut, finished it with poly urethane and also fitted it with a grind to fit limb saver. I haven't gotten a chance to shoot it, but am really looking forward to it, and a little nervous.
(Accuse my poor photography skills)

I’m not too happy about the sap wood, so I keep telling myself its just adding character.
