Hi all. Just recently got a Marlin XT-22, not a bad little rimfire for my son and I to plink away with. Small problem with the extractor. It pulls the shell out of the chamber; however, doesn't eject the spent casing. Casing seems to be stuck pretty tight against the face of the bolt. Any suggestions or know of any gunsmiths in the Calgary area that could look at this? Thanks for any advice.

Marlin XT-22 Extractor problem

There is a pin when the bolt slides all the way back that comes through the bolt face near the bottom. That is what ejects the casing, id guess yours is broken. Bolt all the way back to the stop and i have about 3/16" of a pin past the face.
