Hey all.
Looking for an opinion on a Marlin XT-22VR.
I am looking for a rimfire for target shooting out to 100 yards.
I'm used to shooting Anschutz .22s at 20 yards but looking for a hunting type gun for outdoors.
Please let me know what you guys think.
Thanks.

Love mine as well, had for over a year, zero issues and very accurate. I like the size and heft, feels like a centre fire rifle, like the bull barrel.

first rifle i purchased dead accurate if i do my part
still comes on most range trips

most accurate budget .22. Best bang for the buck. I bought 2 brand new and took it out of the box at the range. Some of the old timers were shooting dime size groups at 50 meters. The Bullish barrel and micro grove rifling makes all the difference in the world. I have an Anschutz and a Marlin 2000 so I know exactly why you are considering the XT. I put Weaver mounts on mine with low profile rings. To get the 3-9x40 scope on, I had to remove the rear sight but to get the scope as close to the barrel as posible is the way to go.
