Marochhi SXS 12ga.

picked up a nice SXS 12ga made by Marochhi, cant seem to find much info on it though, are they alright guns??? It has really nice engravings and the finnish is mint, paid $300 so didnt really break the bank. any thoughts.

Do you mean Marocchi? If so you can contact the company, they are still in business. Today they make only U/O's and autos. They have been in business since 1922 and produce good quality arms. A photo of the proof marks on the water table and barrel flats will provide useful information.

Try looking up frigon. He was the importer for a while. I have a 4 barrel fs4 set o/u and love it well built guns

that is what got me, it looks like a $3000 shotgun not $300, it is extremly well built, the engravings are all over and look slick, and the wood finnish is second to none. I picked it up at a show, and said to a chum that if I walked into a store and looked at it I wouldnt even pick it up because I know I couldnt afford it, it looks expensive.lol

I love mine altho I have a o/u but wood love to get one in a sxs. A 410 would be great
