I shoot .45acp, and would normally reload Montana Gold 200 gr. (filled 185gr. hollow points) but they are no longer available, as far as I can tell - certainly BDX no longer stocks them, or brings them in.

Characteristically this bullet was as good as it gets, fed well, accurate, nice holes etc. Never missed a beat with my factory 5" Colt throated barrel.

I'm not a fan of shooting 230gr. FMJ, and would like another jacketted bullet of the 200gr. weight without bankrupting the family fortune by buying from Hornady.

Marstar has something which may work FMB-018 x 200 gr. flat point, does anybody have any feed back for me with this product in the same set-up as mine? Mastar are very reluctant to supply 10 or 20 bullets for me to test, DRG from whom I have bought lots of lead from in the past are the direct opposite but they don't have what I currently need.

cam-pro have some nice 45 acp 200 gr. they are fmj but i never had a problem with them.

cam-pro is plated not fmj, just like frontier.
Both 200gn work well for me, the frontier has a shape that's a bit longer
