Looks like Marstar is bringing in Pietta (a competitor of Uberti) revolvers in replica of original 1800's stuff. Bother cartridge and percussion.
Prices look great too. .44 percussions as low as $215. Cartridge .45 LC's in the $400 range. Not bad.
The wesite isn;t up and running yet, but it's in the PDF version of their July ad copy.
Wonder how the Piette stuff compares to Uberti in terms of quality and accuracy of replication of the originals?
Anyone got experience with the Pietta guns?
My only complain thus far is that they brought in (it seems) copies of the same models Uberti dealers are selling. IMHO, they should have maybe offered replicas of some of the models Uberti is not currently doing, such as the Dance Brothers revolver or the Schofield.
Just an observation...
