I paid for and then regreted the Marstar M-14 see-thru scope mount w. weaver rail, can anyone comment on the M-14 Deluxe Tactical Scope Mount?

It kind of looks like the one I have. One word: Loctite. And it's not very "deluxe" but it will stick on there. Saving up for an A.R.M.S. mount myself. I got mine for 50 bucks on the forums here a couple years back.

Proxpar,

join the club, we've got jackets. Mine causes jams every 4-5 rounds. I am looking for a Smith Ent. or ARMS for a decent price.

Get the Smith Enterprise mount. The discountinued one's are back into production because there was such a demand for them (accoring to the M14Forum). They take Weaver mounts, but only cost $100 USD and the mount is well rated.

Mine doesn't cause any jams. I mounted an airsoft Aimpoint copy on it and it works great but I'd rather have the A.R.M.S. mount anyway.

If you can find a Springfield Armoury Gen III for a good price, you should look at it as well.

I have one, and it's held zero no problems. Again, Loctite, but that should go without saying for almost ALL scope mounts.

Hello,

Shot 4 boxes of amo at the Range with the new mount from Marstar. Never had a single stove pipe, and is holding it's zero. Kind of a little high, but very satisfied with it. I locked tighted the front mounting screw and the back spacer. This thing is solid.
