Marstar M14 Scope Mounts

I read an earlier thread regarding the Marstar M14 scope mounts. But no where did I see any kind of comments as to which was the better of the two mounts. The one that uses the charger slip guide, and the one that replaces the clip guide. I am trying to avoid removing my clip guide if possible.
Any opinions, or actually trials with the two??

Both of the Marstar mounts involve removing the clip guide. Don't worry, it's not a permanent modification.
 
Save your money since there are far better options out there such as Smith Enterprise and A.R.M.S. mounts.
 
Save your money for an ARMS # 18. Even if you bought a cheaper mount, you would end up using the saved money on Aspirins or Advils. Been there, done that.
