Hi all,
I just got done cleaning up my Yugo Mauser from Marstar, and I have to say for a rifle that was listed as "good", this one seems to belong more in the "very good/excellent" category. (pics up later). Apart from a few stock blemishes and dents, the overall condition of this rifle impresses me a lot, the bore is in as new condition with no copper buildup or old powder grime residue, and the bluing is immaculate. She was absolutley caked in Cosmoline, but after a 3 and a half hour cleaning marathon, the effort was well worth it!! Kudos to Marstar!

I've ordered parts here and there from them, they do have good customer service. It would be nice if you could post a few snapshots of the Yugo Mauser.

I`ve been debating getting a 24/47.

I wanted a BRNO (Czech) VZ24 originally, but I heard that the bore condition can be on the poor side. The Yugo 24/47's were rebarreled after WW2 and put into storage without being issued, so essentially they are new Mausers with old furniture. From what I have heard and seen on YouTube, the 24/47 variants are tack drivers as well....I paid $350 for a "good" condition rifle plus shipping, and I am very happy with my purchase.

^ me to mine has a used shiny and sharp bore, that rumor was probly started in the states they seem to have milsurps of lesser quality on average.
