such a shame lol. but i t works for me even with not the bolt hold stop.
the original t81 mags yes not the yugo ones.
they are made in the former yugoslavia.... that whole area is well known for producing quality firearm products.
If I had an SKS-D.... I'd probably be stocking up on those there yugo mags ..... if i had SKS-Ds that is.
just sayin....
not everything coming from there was good but most were very good quality except the monday and friday productions lol or the day the slivovic ration was bigger than other days ... if you ever drive a zastava 850 built on one of those days you know what im talking about ...
Never owned any but I'll bet that they are better than the crap you will find for sale nowadays . made for the military . enough said .
i own a few and its better but not twice as much as the chinese or korean. both sells for half the price.
i liked the yugo for its bolt hold in the followers feature.
BTW: if you want 5/20 or 5/40 for your T81. marstar sells KCI mags for $33 and $37 respectively and they will mod them for another $10 (still no BHO). i think the mod is a must cos now it will fit both the T81 and the SKS-D to which I have both, lol.
also if trudeau ban importation of mags bigger than 5 rds then i expect all these mags will double overnight.
kci ones did not work with the sks d i had just for your info,.
on the 6 i tried some were not able to hold inside and some had to be reduced to 4 or 3 rounds to be able to function. i sent them back to marstar and they took a restock fee, did not stop me to purchase some yugos for the t81.
