Reload?? I bought mine to empty.
I have just about 22,000 rounds left. In fact, theres a fresh crate of 1750 sitting in the backseat of my car now.
I'll start to panic when I hit 3000 rounds.
Amazing that guys would build the rifle before buying the ammo. Did they think the price was going to go down? My crates cost approx $260 each taxes and shipping in (for 1750 rounds on belts + another 70 rounds of tracer) and from that I recover $140 by selling the belts off after they have been emptied. So that worked out to $120 for approx 1800 rounds, or in other words under 6.7 cents per round. I haven't even figured the recovery price of the brass into that, as I am able to recover 98% of the brass from the floor of the Jeep.
What other full size ball ammunition can you buy for $7 a hundred??
Sure glad I did not wait.
