The "Reloader's Special" that they've been peddling for 5+ years is now all gone. Now we go into "remember when" mode, but not me, I have my supply. :D

Reload?? I bought mine to empty.

I have just about 22,000 rounds left. In fact, theres a fresh crate of 1750 sitting in the backseat of my car now.

I'll start to panic when I hit 3000 rounds.

Amazing that guys would build the rifle before buying the ammo. Did they think the price was going to go down? My crates cost approx $260 each taxes and shipping in (for 1750 rounds on belts + another 70 rounds of tracer) and from that I recover $140 by selling the belts off after they have been emptied. So that worked out to $120 for approx 1800 rounds, or in other words under 6.7 cents per round. I haven't even figured the recovery price of the brass into that, as I am able to recover 98% of the brass from the floor of the Jeep.

What other full size ball ammunition can you buy for $7 a hundred??

Sure glad I did not wait.

Glad I got mine too but where are the tracers ?????

It's a good thing I'm building all these 98s into 8x63:confused:

I guess I'll have to sell them with a thousand rounds of ammo:D

Inside each cardboard box with the belt of 250 there is a small box of 10tracers. The tracers seem to have time expired and no longer light up, but it still goes bang.

Yes. Now the tracers would normally have been removed from the box before shipping, as they were not included in the sale price. If you got them, it was a mistake, if not, nothing to complain about.

I wonder how many rifles in 8x63 out there ?

I would definitely consider buying an 8x63 rifle if It had enough brass included.

Does one have to order the Dies Custom made ?
No point in ordering dies it's not reloadable unless you have a source for berdan primers

Its basically, pull the bullets and dump the powder
then make a load up with hunting bullets
we use a cut down 8mm mag die
By the way 170 gr works really nice :D

Berdan primers can be ordered from Eastern Europe where they are still being manufactured.
We should try to talk CanAm into importing some for us.
