Who has shot the Martial with and with out the break. I was going to try it yesterday as I have had the break on since new and I wanted to see how effective they are, but when I went to "pop" it off out in the country the allan key stripped out. So today I have the break off but no time to shoot. Who has tried this and was there much difference with and without ?

I would hazard a guess that it would make little difference to general shooting. I think it would help in a door breaching type situation where you have to be touching the target with the break or really close. But I could be wrong. If it does make a considerable difference I may have to get one for my Pro Forces

I have one but I've only shot it a couple times without the brake. I haven't done any careful side by side comparisons. My best estimate is that it helps a bit, but barely noticeable. I tend to shoot a lot of 3" slugs out of mine, so it's gonna kick brake or not.

I have shot one with and without, and the muzzle break does help with the recoil reduction and helps with the accuracy. Make sure that the allen screw is in tight though otherwise the slug could sideswipe the brake and damage your barrel.
