I picked up a project gun quite awhile ago and it looks to be just about complete, except there's no wood or it's related furniture included.
I was looking online and noticed IMA has newly made stock's. I'm looking for a fun/hunting rifle, not to rebuild it to it's former glory.

My question is, will any of those stocks work?

You said Martini Enfield rather than Martini Henry, so one would assume you have a .303 cal. rather than a 577/450. The .303 cal. barrels are a smaller diameter than the 577/450 barrels. The .303 barrel on a rifle measures .658" at the nose cap compared to .712" on the 577/450. I suppose you could glass bed it.

I would not expect much in the way of quality from the IMA stocks and it is difficult to say what the wood might be.

The IMA stocks are newly made. Will they fit tho? I guess I 'll have to spend the money to find out.
Yes, it's a 303 barrel, but it's tired so I'll probably pick up a Lee Enfield barrel and switch them.
I thought about an Enfield stock, but if I'm going to spend the time fitting it to the action, I might as well spend the time on a newly made stock

Well I managed to get this combo from Sarco for about $185.00 US.
We'll see how long it's held up at the border for, Then see how much I have to wittle away to make it fit.

Bit of a necro thread revival!

I have a Martini Enfield that I just had the barrel swapped out for a SMLE barrel. The original barrel was shot out and key holing bad.

How did you find this stock set fit ? Right now what I have is a sporterized version and I would like a more original look.

Look at switzer auctions on icollector. They have a couple listed for an auction later this week
