Have had my eye out for a GP greener martini shotgun for some time. They seem far and few between. What is the rarity of these in Canada? I see lots in the U.K. a few in the US. Not sure if there is much interest in them really. Any thing to watch out for in terms of defects or known issues with these?

More interest than supply. That being said the interest is small as well. One of my favorite shotguns for hunting or trap.

These are quality, well made, durable shotguns.
When these were new, they were a lot more expensive than most other single shots, were not appreciated, and did not sell well. Consequently, there aren't all that many out there.
When they do turn up, they are not inexpensive.

Very hard to find. I paid 500$ for mine, I would have paid more if the seller wanted more. I figure that’s about half the price it would cost if made today.

It’s accurate with slugs so I took it deer hunting. It’s a lot of fun quickly switching from slug to #7 when you spot a tree rat, then slug again.
