Is there such a thing? Are they available?

A buddy of mine has a martini henry and would like to load up a few as he has some brass and bullets from a previous owner.

Thanks

Try K. Jenkinson & Co in Grand Forks, BC (250) 442-5718 or Buffalo Arms in the USA, they are not cheap dies to buy no matter where you find them.

Wait.....don't buy yet....

I have two sets of dies....one is "NDFS" and one is "CH4D". Both sets are nice but much more expensive than sets made now by "Lee Precision". I do believe that the Lee ones are only about $125.00 while the others are $250.00 to $300.00. From the reviews I see you should be very happy with the Lee set. Actually you and your friend should spend some time on the "other" board which is dedicated to this era of rifle and reloading for it............................. .............<http://p223.ezboard.com/bbritishmilitariaforums>. This forum is absolutley the best "all round" forum but there is some benefit to checking the other. Members go back and forth to help each other all the time.
Regards, Dave

Buffalo Arms wants $169.15US for .577-.450 dies plus $15.65 for the Rock Chucker press adaptor. Midway wants $79.99US for Lee dies. Mind you, Lee doesn't list them on their site. I suspect they'd be 'Special order' dies from RCBS.
Got access to a lathe? Go here for a how-to for making reloadable brass out of 3/4" brass bar stock. http://lweb.net/tom/577-450.PDF

At the current price for round brass stock, it is cheaper to buy real cases.

My buddy only has 10 brass and bullets and he doesnt have the money nore great interest in reloading. He was just curious about me trying to load some up for him. I will give him the goods next time i see him.
Thanks for the info though. I did some basic research on the martini and frankly reloading or shooting this rifle does not interest me in the slightest. Looks too crude and nasty.

The Lee dies are listed at www.leeprecision.com under "LARGE SERIES DIES" FOR $110 us. check ww w.higginsonpowders.com in Canada and ask for a Canadian price list, they will email it in a day or so. They are usually only $5 or $10 over the U.S. catalogue price. But check any of the dealers at the top of the page to see if they have them in stock.

Midway will not ship to Canada, Buffalo Arms will so what is your point?
