Here's the story. I have a chance to pick up a nice Martini Henry for what seems to me a good price. The down side is that the firing pin has been removed, and the man says that 2 holes have been drilled into it for wall mounting. I haven't actually got my hands on the piece to check out the condition of the rest of it, but as represented, it's in full military wood furniture with the cleaning rod. I may be able to get it for $200. or less. It sounds like an easy restore project, for even worth it parted out for the bits. Any of you good folks have an idea of what I should offer, or hope to realize as a restored shooter, or a parts rifle? Let me know, and thanks in advance.

Hopefully the holes are drilled only through the wood which would be a relatively straight forward repair. Strikers are available but are worth good money these days. $200 is in the ballpark if the bore is half decent. Right now it is only a parts rifle, so I would haggle.
"Two holes" where? in the block face? Have you looked at this rifle or just going by a description?
It may be one of the conversions to shotgun mode. They had a special firing pin with extensions that protruded into the face of the cartridges that were specially made for the converted rifles.
There are other ways to ID if the rifle is really a shotgun, the most obvious of course is the barrel.
