the interesting thing i hope is the markings on the stock
not the best piccy , but if anyone knows where to find info on stock markings i would appreciate it .

the letters look like F C D
then 538 in small numbers
and 364 in numbers the same size as the FCD
and possibly a struck out 151 below that .
thanks in advance

Well, it's a Martini Henry Mk. 4. I can also tell you that these were never issued in Canada so it will have been in service somewhere else....probably India, Pakistan, or Afghanistan. I have a listing of all Canadian regimental numbers but someone here should be able to help. 577-450 is an interesting caliber to reload for and to shoot.
