Martini International

I just bought a really nice Martini International Mk II .22 target rifle from an estate.
It is missing the front globe sight but has the rear sight assembly.
I would like to shoot it but it lack of a front sight.
Where can I get a front sight and scope rings for the gun.
The bases are about .45" wide and are probably PH.
Any help would be appreciated.

Suggest you try RSL Gunsmithing here in Langley BC. He owns a pile of Martinis himself. He is currently making a new firing pin for my Martini Cadet that he just reblued.

If your eyes are still good enough to use the peep sights it would be a small crime to put a scope on that sort of rifle. But to each their own.

If you can't find an actual PH front sight then perhaps you might be able to locate an adapter that would allow you to mount up a Lyman globe sight. Or perhaps you can find a home shop guy locally that could make up such an adapter?

MVA make a front globe for a Sharps that runs close to .45.
