martini update

this is 5 shots at 100 meters useing 240 gr win bullets
behind 24.5 gr of H110 CRONO AT 1800 FPS.
the barrel is Ron Smith, .429 groove dia, 1in 20 twist.
i installed a bushnell trophy mildot scope a few days ago.
zero afor 100 meters, 1st dot shoots 1 inch low at 150
meters, 2nd dot shoots 2 inches low at 200 meters.
now for 300 meters forget the other dots, i split the gong wit the post and thats where she hits. i'm getting ready
for our club off hand gong shoot

Martini stock

Once in awhile I see" Mr Bunny" at the range, I've seen this rifle and the stock is beautiful nicely finished. A pic in the sun light would show it off. Bill

i made the stock from scratch. thats the easiest and the quickest. i made my own cambering and throater reamers.
shes set up to use 240 gr win HSP bullets.and with a med crimp in the back of the canuler groove, the bullets are
just touching the lands. the loading manual says that
H110 needs a heavy crimp for good ignition. more than one way to skin a cat. my savage 308 converted to 44 mag shoots just as good.
