Marvel .22 conversion units for 1911s

Just got a very prompt reply from Marvel about availability of their conversion units in Canada. There is no Cdn. distributor, but they will ship direct - upon receipt of the Cdn. import licence. Their export fee is $100. This is a bit much for one unit, but for a pooled order for several units, it wouldn't be bad at all.

Call Freedon Ventures. They had at least one in stock! Mine!

Might not be a good sign that yours is for sale. What was your opinion of it?

LOL... no the one I have, I got from them. They had it is stock when I called. They used to be a dealer. They had one other in stock when I got it from them a few months ago.
I use it on my STI...... I like it a lot!

After some discussions with Marvel, we decided for business reasons to not pursue importing the line.

They do offer an excellent product; that had nothing to do with the decision.
