I see that the original diet for these things was a 139 grain and 190 grain bullets.

Anyone have any good loads out there in a 150 g FMJBT?

I've tried some with H335 two years ago but my rear sight was so mis-alligned I was missing a 8.5X11" sheet of paper at 25 yards :runaway:
I had to put up three targets in a row, aim at the third to the left to hit the one on the right.

I've got the sight corrected now, (I hope), and would like to try some new loads out.

So...what do you have for me.

(and yes, I thought about putting this in the reloading section but I figured I could get more bang for my buck here!)

Remind me -when you come over on the weekend, I'll show you my load sheets for the caliber. Hornady has some GREAT load listings for the 7.5

Thanks Claven,

I just loaded up some 168g hpbt with IMR 4064. I should be able to try them out tomorrow afternoon as I am getting home early.. :)

Well, I think the 40g of IMR 4064 with the 168 fmjbthp worked the best.

I had two case separations though....

On the up side, a 303 broken case extractor worked on the 7.5 case for me.

I made my brass from 6.5x55 swede. Upon closer exam by a shooting bud at EOHC, we noted the bottom of the cases all had a nice swell to them. I think I may have to re-think the brass for this one.

Anyhow, the new rear sight is good windage-wise. For elevation, I suspect my loads will be about four inches low at 100 yards but I can raise the rear sight up for that.

Sounds like the ol franch girl will get out shooting in 2008!
