MAS 45 ejection issue

I have a MAS 45 .22 trainer.

After firing a shot, I can extract the empty with the bolt but it will not eject it out of the action so that the empty just sits in there on top of the next shell in the magazine.

What causes the problem?

Those MAS 45 parts are very hard to find

If I open the bolt with a sharp flick or snap rearwards it ejects fine, opening slowly or lazily, then the empty just drops on top of the next shell in the magazine.
