I managed to pick up an empty box today at the range while watched an older man :50cal: them all off!! :runaway::runaway:!!!The says MasterCraft and has the Canadian Tire logo on it. They were 2 3/4" #2's. The shells were plastic and were baby blue. I will post a picture of the box later. Any ideas of the value? How about the value of a fiar condition water stained box :p  :D

Canadian tire is now officially sweet. Now if they made mastercraft guns.

Do you realize they would be just re-branded Norinco products if they did... Im not too sure if that would be a good thing. but hey more cheaper guns to buy.

Well upon digging through my stash of random shotgun shells I do have 5 of these! They are #2's also! I didn't dig it out of the garbage thinking I was going to make a buck. I took it to add to my collection of old ammo boxes.

Well then your value of the box is quite subjective.
Clearly the old gent that threw it out found no value worth keeping.
You clearly found value since you fished it out of the trash.

Personally I'd keep it because it has that rustic look, plus it is Canadian Tire, so it may be a conversation piece. As to dollar value, I probably would not go out of my way to track a box down, especially with cash being limited.

I have shot literally thousands of the " Mastercraft" shells, I buy them from older fellows for about 3-5$ a box or so. They were nothing special.
As far as value of an empty box, nothing, unless you use it to start a fire.

After Cdn Tire switched to the "Supreme" logo on their shotshells some were manufactured using winchester hulls. Not compression formed like the AA hulls so were crap for reloading.

Nowenkos would be too expensive to rebrand as mastercrap they would be looking for guns from india and africa to rebrand and sell for $999.00

When I was growing up I prefered the mastercraft shells for cottontails. They were light loads and perfect for bunnies. No good for much else though
