Mastercraft Polishing Tumbler

I bought one on sale a couple of years ago. Had to return it.

Noisy, very hot, metal for threaded post in center so cheap that the post strips and breaks.

Will not even have one in the house again for fear of fire.

A couple of freinds of mine bought them a few years ago , both didn't last much more than a year. I have a lyman turbo 600 that I have been using for over 25 years and is still going strong.

Same here I bought one on sale for dirt cheap, lasted half a year and rattled itself apart. Did a horrible job of tumbling too

Send me the money. I'll throw it out the window when I'm driving. I bought one, lasted about two sessions. Pure unadulterated crap. Bought a Frankford Arsenal about the same size. I also have a little Thumblers Tumbler.

Mine took some tweaking to get the rod and thumb nut working without heating up. Had to add extra washers and make wooden spacers. All's good now.

My turbo tumbler lasted 2 hours, and Lyman said if I wanted warranty work I had to send the whole unit to the states on my dime.

My Lyman was purchased in 1980 and still going strong. I think the latest generation of Lymnan tumblers might be sourced from the same factory that builds the CanTire tumbler.
