My Schultz & Larson .22 is more accurate with high velocity loads. Have tried different makes of target ammo which does not come near the HV accuracy. I know stingers are out with the match chamber but what about Velocitors? American Eagle seems to be it's favourite for now, also the Federal .36gr JHP. Will the CCI Velocitors be ok to use. I sometimes have to knock out the casing unless it is match ammo. Thanks

If high velocity ammo is indeed the most accurate in your S&L target rifle, you have an unusual shooter. Have you tried match ammo? Invariably, standard velocity match ammo -- even entry level match ammo like SK Standard Plus -- gives better accuracy than high velocity ammo, especially as distance increases. CCI Standard Velocity is not match ammo, nor is any bulk, American Eagle, or Federal 36 grain stuff. Try RWS, Eley, Lapua, or SK standard velocity ammo as these typically prove to be the most accurate shooting ammo in most any .22LR rifle.
