Reloading manual calls for federal 210 LR primers, but I can’t find find any. I did find federal 210 large rifle match primers. Will these work in place of the regular primers?

I certainly hope so!!! Is exactly what I intend to do - and I also have substituted CCI BR-2 into a recipe calling for CCI200. Although, that is examples, to me, why I want to start with Start loading, not with a Max loading, especially when substituting components - then "work up" to see what happens in my stuff.

I asked the folks at CCI about the BR-? vs regular primers - they use the same formula, but held to tighter QC standards for the BR line.
I suspect Federal does the same thing.

I have used the Federal 210 and 210M interchangeably without any discernible difference
Likewise the CCI 200 and BR-2, and the Federal 215 and 215M.
I even chronographed some of each with the rest of the
formula identical. No change in ballistics that could be seen. Dave.

Given the relative scarcity of components I have been buying a lot of Match primers lately. The old price is better than the new price on standard primers so why not. I haven't used much yet but what I have, I have seen no discernable difference.
