I am just getting back into Ipsc, shooting in the prairies. I am trying to look for matches in Saskatchewan/Alberta, but cannot seem to find any in practiscore. Is there a schedule of some sort as I enjoy the travel to matches and it is always a great way to spend the weekend. However, looking at practiscore, it is hard to believe that there are no IPSC matches in two provinces. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

In Ontario we don't use Practiscore to find matches although we use it for scoring. We have a match calendar on the IPSC website. Pretty sure Saskatchewan and Alberta must have IPSC websites where you can find out where all the matches are. Here there is more than one every weekend and usually one during the week as well. I'm sure someone from the area will chime in but if you are a member don't you know of a provincial website for IPSC? I know Alberta has one.

Yeah, I checked both sask and alberta websites and all I find is BB courses, but no matches. I believe that they just do not list them as we have one at our club once a month, and it is not listed.I was hoping that someone would jump in and say 'hey we have one at our club in ###X every month'. It may not be as active here unfortunately
.WOW, I just looked at the Ontario calendar........ Lol, the calendars in Alberta and Sask are blank!

Alberta's upcoming schedule has yet to be posted as our season has been completed. Expect the next match to be an indoors match in either Edmonton or Calgary in January.

BTW, it had been offered to Canadian NEC to have Canada-wide match system created and maintained as part of IPSC Canada web site, but NEC didn't seem feel it was needed... If you think that would have been a good resource for members, please talk or email your section coordinator.
This would be amazing. I know I find the IPSC Ontario match calendar/sign up priceless.

There are IPSC matches in Saskatoon and Regina alternating back and forth on the Thurd Saturday of each month. Next match is scheduled for Regina Dec. 17th at the Regina Wildlife Federation indoor range. I am just back into IPSC after many years away, but shot last month in Saskatoon. They are a great bunch of guys to shoot with and fun was had by all so come out and join us.
