Does anyone have matched upper and lowers for sale? stripped or not. Looking for 7075 alloy, and ambi preferably. Looking to spend around $400 for stripped. Dealers welcome!

Thanks

Why bother looking for "matched", the AMU and NGMTU went as far as welding uppers to lowers looking for accuracy gains. They found none over quality Colt parts.

300m indoor range rarely lies.

I've asked that same question. The general answer i got is not so much performance based, sorry sometimes it is that false belief a tight fitting upper and lower equates to more accurate gun(makes no sense if you look at how the gun functions) but it mostly seems to be based on aesthetics. They want a matching finish. Not sure why.

You think colt gets their Uppers/Lowers made in different factories? no, they build them side by side to ensure quality and tighter tolerences. Hence why I want matched. Get off your "COLT" high horse. There's load of other guys who make excellent products! Bushmaster, DPMS, STAG, Daniel Defense, Windham weaponry to name a few have been around for decades building excellent products! Why bother? because its my money and ill do with it as i please. Please post some valid info or dont reply at all. d:h:

It the same as why women buy matching bras and panties :)

Sorry i appreciate a well dressed women and not a disheveled mess. :HR:

Colt USA parts are available through the US Army supply system, so they are basically free to the US Army. As for Colt USA parts (or HK, or FN, or Colt Canada, or KAC) there is no way that random parts built years apart and stuffed into separate bags are in any way matched (other than being made to correct dimensions), yet they work as well as anything that the two above organizations could get their hands on. So if organizations that are buying Kreiger barrels, GA triggers, NM everything, and sorting bolts by the .0001" don't care about receivers other than them being as good as the base TDP there might not be much magic in the two chunks of aluminum.
I have way more Stag receivers than any others because of cost and availability when I have wanted/needed them.

I expressed my informed opinion so you did not go out and spend $1K+ on two "matched" pieces of metal that bring little to nothing to the table.

Guess I am a ####.

Just for the sake of finish uniformity, I'd rather have matching upper/lower

but then again I also detail my car every other week ;)
