Matchsaver installation on Zhukov forend

Hello all, quick question. I have a Zhukov forend on my Beretta 1301, and I have a matchsaver. Do you need to drill a hole to attach it or does it fit in one of the slots on the side? Only YouTube video I could find was on a Benelli with a stock forend.

It will fit in thr Mloc slot
But it won't be in the ideal spot
Best to drill a hole and correct location.
It's a tight fit under the handguard so you may been to grind.

I decided instead to grab a 2 round shotgun card, stick the velcro to the forend right at the receiver and then you can angle it however you like and just take it off whenever you don't need it.
