What are these horrific creations selling for in Canada? Are there any even here? What about the US? Are the carbine versions available?

when i clicked on this thread, i was expecting the autorevolver, not that.... thing.

im intrigued though. i also would like to know. additionally on the price on the autorevolver matebas too.

Wow! Can't believe I didn't realise that. It is definitely a prohibited barrel length in revolver form.

Anyone know anything about the carbines? Do they even exist?

I believe these haven't been made for some years. Once the Mateba autorevolver was developed, this model disappeared. The Mateba autorevolver was in production only a short time. I doubt you can find these in any form, or the autorevolver models, except for a very few in the US. I'd be surprised if anyone who owns an autorevolver wants to sell it.

id pay good money for a non-restricted carbine version, restricted would be 100% dependant on the price . ive got a soft sport for weird guns

Possibly two! Peter Riedel ("rustywood.ca") over here in Mission worked on a couple. From his website, under "Gunsmithing":

June 2010: On request, custom made longer barrels for two rare MATEBA revolvers. Made with 79 degree target crowns, tight cylinder to barrel gap & 11 degree forcing cones. Note: pictures taken before bluing and final installation.
