Well the time has come for me to shoot the guns in the safe instead of keeping them all pretty and new....since the handgun collection is being culled for the move I am taking out some of the virgin queens and pulling the trigger....The Mateba gets deflowered in the morning:D

Got to get a range report on that, actually should be quite accurate and manageable. Be the first (anywhere) to do a range report on it.

BC...hell no!

Odd or COOL!?! :D It's nice too be different!

How long is the barrel on that? Was the barrel extended to get it into Canada?

You're in the Lower Mainland of BC aren't you? What range you going to? Might like to check it out if I had time.

Fudd

It's a standard 6 inch barrel with a thread for the compensator.....South Western Ontario :D

That's the coolest freakin' revolver I have ever seen.

Do you feel like Harrison Ford in Bladerunner when you handle it?

Never seen or heard of one of those before, thank you! neet idea firing from the lower chamber, and setting the grip ahead on the action, should be very stable and recover from recoil fast...what other neat little features are designed into that puppy?

I've had my eye on one for a while. Would make a killer pin gun. Not so good for IDPA: who makes a concealment holster for one?

The only ones I've seen recently are blued - seeing this one, apparently in stainless, has me thinking about it again.

Well, it's a semi-automatic, for one thing. For another, I read somewhere that it was inspired by a Japanese Manga comic book.

Let's see: first there was the Webley-Fosberry, then the Dardick, now the Mateba. Anyone know any others?

OK, seen the fosberry, who has a picture of the Dardick?

If you need to raise cash you could sell me a certian black pistol you own....:D

The Dardick was a bit freaky as it used a magazine to feed a set of revolving chambers and the cartridges were triangular in cross section.

My favorite of this period was the Gyrojet as seen in the Bond flick "you only live twice".
