Matrix Bullets

Shortly after he sold the.business, I contacted the new owner. He was having problems with supply so decided to concentrate on target bullets. Apparently target shooters order by the thousands, whereas hunters.....One box at a time.

Can't say I blame him trying to recoup some money from the purchase.

Hi All

I have all the original dies except for 270 dies with the previous owner kept. However, the demand for hunting bullets is very weak compared to the match shooters so it has been hard to know what to make for the hunting community. For example, many people contacted me about making 9.3 bullets. When I had a break I planned to produce those and contacted everyone who had asked. I only got three people commit and one of these never picked up his order.

It is my intention to offer and stock the bullets that people want but???

Timely and continuous jacket supply has largely been resolved at this time. I have one jacket that I can't get due to supply production issues but that is apparently going to be resolved shortly.

Thanks

Can only say good things so far, was shooting Berger 105 out of a 6br. Consistency in the ogive and weight are great and not as much touching up of meplats needed as I have seen with some lots of bergers. My 200yrd groups have shrank about .2 moa. Definitely will be switching if they preform at distance as they are during load development. Can only say good things about Steve as well. Also on the plus side another Canadian manufacture we should be trying to support.

So whats the Latest NEWs on Matrix bullets Who's KILLING targets at up to a 1000 yards with them ? ;) RJ

RJ. :) Just noticed your thread on Matrix bullets. Actually, the guy making them originally, just lived a few miles down the road from me at Crofton. He went under the name of Matrix Ballistics Ltd at that time but I believe the operation ended up going to the mainland, Delta. I did acquire a small selection from him, when he was located in Crofton, for my 9.3 and my 375. For the 9.3x62, ;) .366 Wagner, I still have a couple of boxes of 100, of 290gr FB. For use in my 375 H&H and 375 CT, I have two boxes of 300gr FBRN and two boxes of 270gr bonded.

Here is a 300 yard group I shot in load development with the Matrix 146gr 6.5 bullet.
Shot out of a factory Sako a7 range that was bedded.
Using h4350 205m primers and Lapua Brass in a 6.5CM.
They are great bullets.

I haven’t used them personally but a co worker has purchased a couple thousand of them in a couple different calibers and has been very impressed both on targets and long range hunting shots.

Nice to see quality Canadian products at competitive prices.
