matrix bullets

I was just on their web site and was looking at their vld bullets in 30 cal.i find that their bc,seem to be very high.

has anyone been using them in competition with any success?how come we dont see or here more about them with such high bc they beat the bergers hands down are the bc correct??

Their BC is likely being estimated by Corbin's software, which tends to grossly over-estimate it.

I'm going to order some and give them a try not that I see match bullets on the site.

and
.308 caliber VLD rifle bullets
are his Match Bullets.

I have 2 boxes of his 190 7mm's that I still have to "give a go".

I thought their BC for the 210gr VLD's looked kinda high... However, at 1000 yds It was dead on using the published BC with 2 different ballistic programs.

you personaly shot them at a 1000?what were you running for a rate of twist?

I have indeed.. made the switch from 210 bergers (which shot extremely well, Matrix just shot a little better). 300 winmag, 28" Shilen select match barrel with (I think) 1:10 twist..

I have spoken with Marshall about the BC's and they are based on the Drawings. I have used his 5mm 107's and they are quite good. I also know the 190 7mm's are excellent.
