Matt Burkett 2003 Winning IDPA Techniques

Matt is a great instructor, probably one of the best. I have shot with him at some of the major matches and he is great at giving tips. He knows what he is talking about and he is very good at getting it across in a way that can be easily understood....and there is nobody more fun at a bar...lol

I'll inbox you my number so you can call me next time he's in town! :p

He's told me a couple of times he'd love to come up and teach here. I'll probably see him at SHOT show, Maybe he could do an IDPA/IPSC combo?

The video he produced in 2003 is a bit out of date. There were several rule changes made in 2005 that are in conflict with some of what he does and says in this video. I am not sure if he has produced an updated version. A check on his website probably would answer that.

Bummer! Now I have to double check some things that did have me questioning what I knew as an SO like when he said two shots in the -3 still neutralize the target.

Unfortunately it has never been updated. However the techniques demonstrated especially related to practice drills are still valid and useful.
