matt finish clear coat.

So I just refinished a USGI fiberglass M14 stock. I filled in the selector slot, built up a dam for the op rod guide pin, primed and painted with Krylon.

I would like to apply a matt clear.

What have you used? where did you get it from?

The USGI fiberglass M14 stock already has a flat finish. However, I believe Krylon makes a clear, flat, acrylic paint. Any hardware or paint store should have it.

I did mine as well and could only find satin finish (less glossy) I then rubbed it gently with steel wool to dull it a bit .

Rona has a clear matte lacquer that worked like a charm for me.
