Mauser 1908 Brazilian 30-06

I have a chance at getting a Brazilian mauser that is in good shape (Not mint). I dont know alot about this rifle its in 30-06 and has original wood.
I like the price $150

What do ya think? I appreciate all imput.

The 1908 Brazilian Mauser was originally chambered in 7 x 57 Mauser, so it has been rebarrelled. I am not sure if the Brazilians did this themselves? I seem to remember a 1960's vintage that was in 30-06 and built on 1908 receivers. Riflechair had one for sale awhile back. Does this have an aperture rear sight?

Yes it does. The action is smoooooth, weighs about 400 pounds (LOL)

Hi guys
Actually my 1908 was a Deutch waffen fabriken rebuild to a M968 model when the FN FAL was being introduced. In order to standardize ammunition a rare model of mauser was adopted in south america called the M968. Very few were made. They used H&K peep sights and front blades.

A way cool mauser and extremely accurate. Probabl;y the most accurate mauser I have ever owned.

I don't have the rifle any more but I know where it is!
