Not really looking for one, but since I hadn't seen many of these around I grabbed this beauty at the gun show today.
A Mauser-Werke Oberndorf Model 99 in 270 Win, Buehler mounts and a VariX III 2.5-8.
Detach mag, incredible trigger, nice oil finished monte carlo walnut stock with rosewood tip
Super smooth action with a ultra short bolt lift.
Previously under the Voere name as a Titan 2 and Kleinguether as a K-15
Looking to show it off, enjoy the pics.









 
Nice find, looks pretty mint. I ve had a couple in 300wby and one in 308 norma mag. All 3 shot excellent, Would like to hear how yours shoots.
 
Jeeze, I wonder where Ruger got the idea for their bolt in the American rifles...

That is a fine rifle... a man can feel good strolling the woods with a rifle like that slung over a shoulder... but you can only "show off" if you underpaid...
 
The Germans make excellent rifles, I have held the same Heym full stock at two different gun shows, but I just couldn't bring myself to own a 270win.

Was it the SR20L at the Edmonton gunshow last weekend? It was a beauty. I've been looking for an SR20N in 6.5x55. Germans make some quality stuff.

Edit-that's a beautiful rifle OP. I want one.

Shot it for the first time today. I really like the trigger, and how short the firing pin seems to travel. The only problem I had was with the scope. The 2.5-8 has a "Leupold Dot" reticle which would be fine for hunting but the dot appears to be 1.5-2" in diameter at 100 yrds through this 8 power scope. It would be better if I was using a different target. Anyways very happy with this gun and it appears very accurate. Cheers.

My rifle shoots cheap factory winchester ammo as good if not better than my handloads.
Incredible trigger on these rifles too
