Mauser appraisal?

This example I'm looking at is unfortunately drilled and tapped. How much does this reduce the value?

"drilled and tapped" - curious how that would work with a straight handle bolt and conventional military Mauser safety. Maybe someone just started a conversion and never thought the project all the way through? With heat sink, etc., is possible to cut and re-weld that straight bolt handle to be "scope friendly", then inlet side of stock for that lowered bolt handle - then is several options for a replacement safety that is also "scope friendly" - but is all additional dollars for parts or to pay someone for their labour. Could also be an issue whether those four holes drilled are straight in line one to each other and the centre of the bore line? Rear hole for front base into the bolt lug rest or into the recess for bolt lug? Front hole on front scope base drilled into the barrel tenon? Also, usually need to deal with that "stripper clip" ridge on front of the rear bridge, or alter a rear base to clear that.

Most commercial bases of most brands going to come with 6-48 screws to attach to that rifle - so have to "hope" that whomever did the drill and tap used a correct size numbered drill for the tap hole, then used 6-48 taps - not the more common 6-32, or another "custom" size.

Was also a thing on many Swede rifles - had been drilled and tapped on rear bridge only, for various aperture sights used by FSR shooting competitions - OR there was also rear aperture hunting sights by Norma and Hellqvist - but none of those going to be "in-line" front to back on rifle - will be off-set left and right to match the mounting holes in the sight bases - of the ones that I have - the front ring was not drilled or tapped - those off-set holes threaded to "odd to us" metric - was either M3 or M4 - I just forget which thread pitch - 0.6 (?). And - to "never" say "never" or "always" - I have a Swede CG63 built by Norma - was drilled and tapped for scope bases - was no holes ever drilled for aperture sights - so I do not think that one was ever in compliance with FSR competition "rules".
