Hi all, wondering if anyone familiar with disassembly of what I think is a Mauser bolt?

I was trying to disassemble since it seems to be gummed up. Anyhow, messed with the plunger thing on the right arrow and think moved it (back of the bolt) 90 degrees to bolt closed position and stuck.

Does anyone know what type of Mauser bolt this is and or point me to disassembly instructions?

Thanks!

The shroud has rotated and the cocking piece has moved into the "fired" position. You should be able to twist it back to its normal position by hand. Gloves help.

After you've done that, put the bolt back in the rifle and close it. You should notice a small hole on the bottom of the cocking piece. Put a nail through this hole, and when you remove the bolt from the rifle again you should be able to unscrew the shroud. There is a bolt shroud lock, the little plunger on the left side, that has to be depressed to start unscrewing.

Looks like a standard 96/98 bolt.

Hook the striker on edge of a desk, pull it down, push up the little plunger and turn the rear of the bolt. It should re set it.

That worked, you guys are awesome, thank you!

Surprised that firing pin spring is probably larger than a 1911 mainspring :)

Got it all disassembled (made a quick & simple jig mainly of a drilled hole in a 2x4 to undo the cap & pin thing), cleaned/de-greased, and works great now.
