Mauser C96 Broomhandle

Hi Guys,

New to C96's and researching a vet bring back. Can any one shed any light on it for me? I assume its just another run of the mill C96 Mauser. I can see the Antler Proof from ULM on right side which is cool and of course all numbers match. It hasn't been cleaned or restored.

The exposure on my camera makes the bluing appear very pale, its much darker then the photos show.
Any advise as to value?

Value can dance on the head of a pin with these.

So far looks to be matching externally. Any idea if the grips and internal lockwork also match the serial?

Yes, matching serial numbers internally, both on the grips and the lockwork. I can take some photos tonight.

The "large hammer ring" on your pistol raises the value higher than the more common small hammer ring. The matching stock also adds value.
A common C96 w/ stock is about $2500.

Yours will be much higher. I would estimate $4000.
