I am thinking of selling one of my fathers rifles. It is a mauser model 66 with action number dbp 1205 423.
It has double triggers and a Kales scope. It has been shot but not very much. It is too pretty for me to keep. Does anyone know this gun and have any idea what a mint rifle like this would be worth.

I traded mine off last Nov.for a lefthand custom KS in .375 H&H at Epps. They appraised it as "Fair"(The reason being it had been reblued and my initials engraved on the trigger follower)and allowed $1478.00 with a piece of junk scope on it,double triggers and a plain bbl.You should get a Lot more with a premium scope like you have on it.Note;I would NEVER of traded it off except I converted to lefthand after a motorcycle accident years ago_ONE BEAUTIFUL RIFLE TO SHOOT!...Hope this helps.

I have a Mauser 66 with 2 barrels: 7mmRM and 308NormaMag. Beautiful rifle, shows some good old world craftsmanship. A far cry from today's mass produced rifles. The model was manufactured from 1965-1995.

What caliber is it? What kind of scope mount does it have -- a swing out / quick detachable, or some weaver like system? These are wonderful rifles, but just not everyone appreciates them.
