Mauser newbie question

I has to be simple, but I'm not getting it. How do I remove the bolt of my m96?

Left rear of the receiver is a rectangular block. Pull the front out in a counter-clockwise direction, the bolt will pull free of the receiver.

Thank you. I was looking at that block wondering what it was for. Will do this in the a.m. I really appreciate your reply.

The block also contains the ejector, with the bolt removed it will be easy to spot.
