It's been a while since I've been on CGN, I got ianwd to buy me (and put in my name) an 8mm Mauser. I've only shot 5 rounds in it, 1" group (1 stray, first shot). Apparently it's Czech made in the CZ factory, so it was an occupation gun. Anyhoo, since we have one of every milsurp/knnockoff except for a quality Garand, I figured it was about time we added a Mauser to the family. I had been looking at the Calgary gun show at Easter, but nothing caught my eye, and ianwd didn't think I was serious. ianwd wonders about my change in fascination from eastern-bloc arms to Nazi guns, though... Although he did buy a P38 behind my back and I didn't know about it until he showed me video of him & his bruv' from the UK at the range last month... Hmm...
