Will a 93 Mauser fit the stock inlet for a 96 Mauser?

They are both small ring Mausers and share the same guard screw spacing, so, yes, a stock from a 93 should fit a 96. Expect minor fitting issues.

I would expect minor fitting issues with the barrel also.

I don't think it will be a very good fit. The M93 will interchange quite well with the M94 Carbine, but not with the M96. The M93 is a flat bottom receiver, while the M96 is round bottomed. Additionally, the M96 is wider at the floor plate's front tang, so there will be a space there. Lastly, the M93's magazine box is shorter than the M96's.

So while it may work, I doubt the end result would be very appealing (visually).

Just buy some Acraglas Gel....everything fits.
