Mauser Safety FYI

I found my M96 safety to be a bit stiff this deer season. By greasing the inside of the cocking piece (I used moly) the safety was much easier to move.

I'm not sure if this has been covered before but someone might find it useful.

Swedish mauser parts are always a tight fit it seems. Just goes to show the production tolerances that were observed when these were being made.

Both my Oberndorf and Gustav have tight safeties as well.
